York Music Teachers
Association was organized to promote continuing education for
independent music teachers and performance and educational
opportunities for their students. Members of YMTA
can take
advantage of:
- teacher enrichment sessions
- student recitals
- competitions and festivals
sponsored by YMTA and its state and national affiliates
- an active teacher referral listing
- networking with local music teachers
- benefits packages offered by MTNA
- teacher enrichment grants
- professional conferences at the
state and national level

is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit local affiliate of Pennsylvania Music Teachers
Association (PMTA) and Music Teachers National Association
