Mary Loyer

Mary LoyerDr. Mary Loyer, Ed D., NCTM, has studied violin under Dorothy Gennusa, Grace Boeringer, Paul Windt, Raymond Paige, and John Eaken. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree, a Masters in Classroom Technology, and a Doctorate in Education. She is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music through Music Teachers National Association and is a retired member of Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) and National Federation of Music Educators (NaFME). Dr. Loyer has performed locally and regionally with groups such as the York Symphony, Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Maryland Philharmonic, Baltimore Philharmonic, Hunt Valley Symphony, and the Andante Trio. She teaches private violin lessons for all ages of students, including adults. Dr. Loyer, retired public school string instructor, is currently serving as Director of Music at Grace Lutheran Church.
